Our villa is located in Playa Hermosa. Playa Hermosa is a gated community, and you'll find an abundance of things to do within the community and surrounding area. There are enough activities to keep you busy enjoying yourself for your whole stay, and make you want to come back for more!
Enjoy all this and more...
There are 3 restaurants with cuisines that are very diversified including several local Costa Rican dishes. The seafood is fresh everyday, bought just down the road from the villa from a local fisherman.
There are several restaurants within walking distance down the beach from the villa. They range in cost and cuisine from semi-fancy to very casual. They all offer outside eating within view of the ocean and sunset.
There are also several small towns within 20 minutes of the villa where you can get groceries, gifts, clothing, etc. Speaking Spanish is not a must to go there. Most of the people speak English or understand enough so that you can be comfortable.
If fishing is your thing, the Flamingo beach area boasts world records for marlin, sailfish, snapper, wahoo, tuna and rooster fish.
If you prefer diving, the northwest coast of Costa Rica brings you to underwater volcanic rock pinnacles. Colorful Cortez and King Angelfish, Pufferfish, Jewel, Moray Eels, Parrotfish, Sea Turtle are some of the species you might spot.
There are two seasons in Costa Rica:
Both seasons offer beautiful things to see and do. The wet season means it may rain for part of the day or not at all.
